Manu Prakash wins MacArthur “Genius” Award

Sep 27, 2016

Manu Prakash was recently named a MacArthur Fellow in recognition of his extraordinary work.  These awards are commonly known as MacArthur Foundation “genius” grants.  The fellowship is an unrestricted grant to talented individuals who have shown extraordinary originality and dedication in their creative pursuits and a marked capacity for self-direction. There are three criteria for selection of Fellows: exceptional creativity, promise for important future advances based on a track record of significant accomplishment, and potential for the fellowship to facilitate subsequent creative work.  Watch our video, commissioned by the Gordon and Betty Moore Foundation, to learn more about Manu’s amazing work.
