UCSF Diabetes Center 10th Anniversary

To commemorate the 10th anniversary of the founding of the University of California, San Francisco Diabetes Center, Kikim Media was commissioned to make a short film showing how the Center’s commitment to treat and cure diabetes has transformed the way families deal with the disease and provided new hope for a future free of it.

The Diabetes Center is dedicated to the prevention, treatment and cure of diabetes through research, clinical care and patient education. Combining cutting edge research with top-notch clinical care, the Center focuses on establishing a better understanding of the genetic mechanisms that cause diabetes, diagnosing and treating the disease early, and developing new procedures such as islet transplants and beta cell replacement through stem cell technology that promise to reverse or cure the disease.
