Health Care Without Harm

Synopsis

Every year, hospitals generate millions of tons of waste, much of which is toxic. They also can damage the environment in other ways, ranging from the way they are designed and built to the chemicals they use. Health Care Without Harm aims to change that by working with hospitals to ensure that their environmental practices do no harm. This seven-minute video tells the story of an organization that started small but has now grown into a global coalition which includes about 470 organizations in more than 50 countries.
