But along with technology’s promise of a better world comes the certainty of change—and not always for the better. The Next Big Thing? tells the story of technological transformation. What will tomorrow’s innovations bring? A better life? A safer, cleaner world? How can we be sure? And how can we know which of technology’s gifts will turn out to be the next big thing?
